Trends and Fashions Hello again. I hope all of you are enjoying the spingtime weather!
Now that we're well into spring, most of us are feeling the fever: spring fever, spring cleaning, renewal, etc. - and trying to finish up our winter projects before
we get busy with summer vacations and activities. I don't know where the time goes, but I do know summer IS on it's way. We have even had some wonderful
samples of summer weather here in Boise and was it ever great! We have been reminded, however, that we are not free from the frosty nights quite yet.
Nevertheless, I have decided to include some fun summer type patterns in this issue.
Flowers are in for spring, so if you are feeling the winter blues, try wearing a flower print skirt or dress! The cheerful looks and compliments alone will
brighten your day! Get ready, get set and get into summer.....
If you are looking for the new Baby Brights by Red Heart, I noticed that Mary Maxim has them in their new catalog....they are great colors for children and infants.
Pattern Requests Each issue of Knittingnews contains a section where subscribers can request
and share patterns with each other. This section has been left out of this reprint as those requests have now been fulfilled.
Knitting Tips Teaching Children to Knit - Here's a fun rhyme you can use to teach children
knitting.... "Under the fence, catch the sheep, back we come, off we leap."
