Here are the answers to some of the questions we are most frequently asked.
1. Why do banks care if I have good credit or not.
I'm asking to take credit cards, not spend with them?
Unfortunatly in this world, there are a few people who abuse the trust the world places in them. For example, they may take an order, charge the credit card,
then never deliver the product. When this happens to a consumer, they complain to the credit card company who "charges back" that amount to the vendor. Because of that, banks protect themselves by ensuring
that those who they authorize to accept credit cards in their names have good credit, just in case...
2. What constitutes "bad credit"?
In considering a Merchant Account Application, our banks
are looking for no excessive chargeoffs of collection assets. In other words, nobody has given up on receiving money from these people and written them off.
The other thing banks are looking for is a history of
credit being granted and repaid or on-schedule in payments.
3. How long does it take to process my application?
Once we receive the hard copy application back from you, we will immediatly forward it
on for consideration. Program #2, our most popular program, takes about 2-3 weeks to process. Once approved, we will immediatly inform you of your acceptance and deliver the equipment you require to begin
accepting credit cards.
Other programs can grant approval more rapidly. Please contact us if you require immediate acceptance.
4. What does it take to begin the application process?
We only need two things:
a. A completed pre-application
b. $95 payment.
We ask for the $95 upfront because it costs us a tremendous amount of time and money to send out hard copy applications to
everyone who is just investigating. By requiring the money upfront, we know that you are committed to this process.
5. Once I get approved, what do I have to do to accept credit cards?
This
application will approve you to accept Mastercard and Visa. American Express and Discover require separate applications. Information on this will be provided to you once your account has been accepted.
Once your application has been approved, you will have the equipment or software you ordered delivered to you. It is simple to set up, and support phone numbers are provided to talk you through the process.
They will also facilitate testing of your equipment to make sure everything is in operating order.
When you get a credit card order, you will simply process it according to your equipment specifications. If, for
example, you have the software, you will simply fill out several key order facts, and press submit. The software will automatically dial a toll-free number on your modem, send the information to the credit card
company, and log off. The entire process takes about 10 seconds
